Akira Expanded Font is a sans-serif font family based on the Akira movie title logo. This Font project was created and is maintained by Andrew Leach (Aka Andrew Houle). The project began in early 2019 as an expansion of the original Akira Font, also created by Andrew Leach.

This Font project currently contains 4 different styles of the Akira font: Regular, Bold, Light, and Extended. The Extended style is a new addition to the family and contains additional characters not found in the other styles. This typeface is also best for both coy-paste and pairing functions.
